Tomchei Temimim The Heartbeat of Jewry

Scholarships constitute the Yeshiva's top institutional priority.
~ Scholarship support is essential for the Yeshiva to achieve and sustain excellence, remain affordable and competitive, and continue the historic goal with which The Rebbe charged us. Scholarships make it possible for talented students from the United States and across the world who are motivated to live up to The Rebbe's challenge of being a Tomim to attend Lubavitch Yeshiva. ~ Approximately 75 percent of our students receive scholarship assistance, with about one-third from philanthropy and the remainder from the Yeshiva's budget. ~ A gift of scholarships to qualified students attending the Yeshiva provides the opportunity to identify with exceptional Jewish students committed to leadership in the Jewish community and society at large. It represents an investment in the Yiddishe, Chassidishe values and ideals that you and the Yeshiva hold most dear. These include a passion for the Jewish people; absolute support for Shleimus Hatorah, Shleimus Ho'om, and Shleimus Ho'oretz; the development of future Jewish leadership in the United States and around the world; the strengthening of Yiddishkeit and Chassidus, and above all to bring Moshiach Now! ~ Despite the current economic climate, we remain committed to ensuring that no qualified student who desires a Lubavitch Yeshiva education be turned away for lack of financial resources. Increased funding for scholarships is not merely a goal, it is our fundamental obligation.
Build two new floors higher. Make place for 300 more students. This is an excellent Naming Opportunity.
United Lubavitcher Yeshiva features many naming opportunities. Naming a hall, office, classroom, library, playground, or other facility is a wonderful and timeless way to memorialize or honor a loved one. We invite you to speak to us about naming opportunities that may be right for you and your family, ranging from a table in the Beis Hamedrosh to an entire floor.
Our Annual Fund is one of our most important resources, and a large percentage of the Fund goes towards scholarships for various students.
Consider: ~ Tuition and government funding cover less than half of what it costs the Yeshiva to educate each of our students. ~ Seven of every 10 students receive $6,129- per year (on average) in scholarship support. "We have made a commitment that every student who wants a Lubavitcher Yeshiva education will have access to it regardless of their ability to pay. That commitment creates real urgency in our Annual Fund Campaign," said Rabbi Eliezer Halon, director of annual giving. "The Annual Fund is our lifeblood. It's the steady source of discretionary funds - the cash flow in our checking account. It's used right now to pay the bills, to meet basic needs and, most importantly, to fund scholarships." "The Annual Fund is a clear demonstration of the power of the many," halon noted. "We ask all to give what they can, but more than that, we ask everyone to give something every year. Taken together, those individual gifts can become a transformative donation for the Yeshiva and make an immediate difference in the life of this institution and its students."
